This years TradeTech India 2010 was a huge success and 2011 will be an even bigger one!
Over 220 people attended TradeTech India this year to learn from regional and international experts on the latest issues in the burgeoning India electronic equities trading landscape. The auditorium was filled to capacity to hear the keynote address of Mr J.N. Gupta, the Executive Director of SEBI present on the latest regulatory changes aimed at improving trading efficiency.
Other sessions that were particularly hot included the exchanges panel which featured leading domestic exchanges such as the NSE, the BSE and the MCX. Issues of co-location and latency reduction were debated by heads of brokerage companies while algorithmic trading and high frequency trading were other hot topics that drew enormous crowds.
The networking halls were jammed with delegates vying to see the latest product offerings on display from the 14 exhibitors and the networking onsite was second to none. Overall the delegates and sponsors were glad they took the time out of their busy schedules to hear from the industries best of breed. Overall the knowledge imparted and the business relationships forged at the event left everyone involved wanting more.
We look forward to returning again in 2011 for the must attend Indian equities trading event.
